Regency Park Assisted Living

I got kicked off the property yesterday while visiting my Grandmother because I brought it to the nursing staffs attention that no one came to check on my grandmother who had been pushing her emergency button for a total of 30 minutes. I was not rude or wasn’t causing any scene and when nurse arrived asking if everything was ok I said yes now we’re fine but 30 minutes ago she needed help in her room, she could have fallen who knows? I was also wondering if her button was faulty because this also happened on a separate occasion and the nurse said it might need new batteries. Nurse said she received the notification but they were in change of shift meeting. I asked the charge nurse her name and she turned and walked away without a word. Some minutes later TJ the administrator told me to get off property with her and her staff treating me like a criminal and told me I wasn’t allowed to come back. They have also given my grandmother medication that she wasn’t supposed to receive for pain and didn’t even do a pain assessment or evaluation prior to giving the medication. She wasn’t even in pain!!! She has also fallen in this place as well! For advocating for safety for my grandmother this is how they handled the situation. Very unprofessional!! I’m now fighting to get my grandmother out of there! Also in regards to your reply below, my grandmother and I, were outside of the building for a half an hour calm and spending time together when I was kicked off the property!! Get the facts straight! Also what can you say about blocking my phone number so I can’t even communicate with her ever since then??? Nothing I did warranted any of this unprofessional treatment by your staff!!!!! Period!!!

My 95 y/o father moved to Regency after breaking his hip which left him not able to stay in his home. He has been here for 6 months now and is very happy. Other assisted living places I looked at were more like hotels while Regency feels like home. It is an older building but very well maintained inside and out. It is not sprinklered, but has smoke detection and smoke barriers throughout. It’s a one story building with plenty of emergency exits. My father was able to bring in his own furniture and I like that I can keep a security camera in his room. The staff is very attentive - my dad is always clean and well fed. They clean his room and his laundry. Regency was the most affordable senior living facility that I looked at. His private room with a bathroom is small but he doesn’t need much space. One of the best features is that they have a Catholic mass every Sunday which I attend with him. Bayada home health offers medical care, OT, PT and speech therapy on site which is convenient. The nursing staff always keep me informed of medical needs. They have lots of activities and parties with opportunities to socialize which is better than living alone. My siblings can’t believe that I found such a perfect place for Dad to live when they visit and see how happy he is.

Our family feels so blessed to have found Regency for our mom (big thanks to Myra from Care Patrol). Regency staff couldn't be more friendly, kind & helpful to mom, and to all of us for that matter. Mom loves her sweetly decorated room as well as the beautifully landscaped grounds. One of her favorite things to do is to relax on the front porch with her visitors and admire all of the colorful flowers. Mom also enjoys all the activities and craft sessions. She is so very happy at Regency and for that, we are truly grateful to everyone there for their unwavering help, hard work and support.

Regency Park Assited Living is an exceptional place for your loved one. We entered this BEAUTIFUL facility 16 months ago,with our Mom,after my Dad passed away. Mom was hospitalized and then entered rehab for a short time. This was a very uncertain time for us but we knew that Mom couldn't return to her home as she once knew it. When we drove up the driveway, immediately, Mom was amazed by the gorgeous landscape! As we wheeled Mom into the facility,we were greeted by Kate.Mom has loved this "home" away from home ever since then. She always comments about how wonderfully kept it is.She loves sitting on the porch. Her room is beautiful. The staff at Regency could not be more loving and caring! They are all very professional from the cleaning staff to the Executive Director.The activities keep Mom busy and engaged. Mom has made many friends here as well. Mom loves every meal served in a pretty dining room with cloth napkins and tableclothes. Mom even attends the church service provided every Sunday morning! Beautiful surroundings, extremely clean and very cozy atmosphere. Thank God for Regency Park!!!

Amazing place! Management, staff, and care staff are all kind loving people who are all very knowledgeable, and will love your loved ones like their own. Highly recommend.
