Yes, we are still in a pandemic, yes this facility, like others, is understaffed; however, the lack of care here is saddening and quite frankly, not very safe for its residents. I hesitate to even blame the staff because it's clear they are overworked, probably underpaid, and not properly trained. Despite that, please do not send your love one here unless they have a significant sense of independence, or there is a serious increase in staff and staff training.

My wife's grandmother was here for a couple years and she was well taken care of. The entire staff showed such care and compassion towards her and all of the other residents. RN Administrator Nicole Riesterer was extremely professional and honored my wife's grandmother's wishes to the fullest!! I would highly recommend this facility to loved ones if the need should arise. Thanks again Renaissance for be a place she could call home!

Very unsatisfactory ongoing experience with RN Administrator, Nicole Riesterer regarding my mother who passed away last week. Over a long period of time, Nicole has not returned calls to me ( I live in Florida except for 8 weeks in the Fox Valley each summer), did not inform me, the only child, of a stroke my mother suffered at her facility two weeks before she passed away, and then released all of my mother's possessions, including keepsakes, to another family member who Nicole knew well has been unwilling to communicate with me in any way for over ten years. Nicole knew I was in Appleton at the time. It's hard for me to understand such unprofessionalism.

As a Home Care CNA I was very disappointed walking in to help out a client of mine, saw nobody around. An older lady behind the counter who was so busy in what she was doing that I even knocked on the counter, with no response from her. Still seeing nobody, I was just starting to walk to the Dinning Room, when a couple walked in and got immediate attention from a lady that noticed them from across the hall, and RAN over. I stopped the conversation stating that I needed to return a call button and get my clients belonging. The lady did nothing to apologize to me for having me feel ignored. Not good fellowship, and follow up care for my client. Not impressed.
