Renaissance Assisted Living

The Renaissance is a beautiful facility, inside and out! When I drive up, I am greeted with a gorgeous array of potted flowers in pleasing colors. It makes me feel right at home, as my mother resides here, and loves all things related to flowers in the Spring and Summer. There is a porch area for residents to take it all in, as well as additional outdoor seating on other sides of the building. It is truly a blessing for residents and visitors alike, when you feel happy just driving up! Once inside, the facility is clean and you’re greeted by friendly and welcoming staff. There’s a nice dining room which serves home cooked style, healthy meals. Resident rooms are kept clean and provide good space. I’m beyond happy that my mother is here!

The Harbor at Renaissance was the answer to a prayer. The staff is caring and considerate. My husband is well cared for and content. The staff takes the time to get to know us as a family and are inclusive of my health issues when my ability to visit is limited. They have made a difficult time in our lives as pleasant as possible. The location is beautiful and cheerful. I recommend The Harbor to everyone.

In January, my mother transitioned to Renaissance Assisted Living, and it has truly been a wonderful experience for us. We explored numerous facilities in both Richmond and Charlottesville, but Renaissance stands out far above the rest. My mother takes great pleasure in the pastor who visits on Tuesdays, along with the music, games, and arts offered at the senior center. Furthermore, the regular strolls around town have been a wonderful addition to her routine. I feel so thankful that we secured a place at Renaissance.

I looked at many places trying to find the best fit for my mother. I am so thankful that the Renaissance was recommended to me. Beth and her staff care deeply for their residents and shows in all that they do. The staff and medical support are great and very communicative. This is a small facility and there is a great ratio of staff to residents. The building and the grounds are well maintained and clean. I feel great knowing that Beth and her team are on top of things and have all their residents' best interest at heart. I would highly recommend the Renaissance or the Harbor to anyone who is looking for long term care.

This is a wonderful place for my parents. They make everyone feel like family. Beth works so hard to be festive during all holidays. The outside area is always lovely. All of the staff goes out of their way to take care of the patients as if they were family.
