Renaissance Care Home of Southpoint was a good transition for a dear friend who could no longer live alone at home. She had a bright sunshiney room large enough for everything she needed. The staff were always helpful and kind, as were the owners. I looked at large assisted living places that were not able to offer such a high level of care, yet were high priced for what the room and care level was. This was an excellent choice.

Renaissance Care Home provides excellent care at all levels for my father-in-law.  The home is calm and inviting.  It is immaculate and homey.  The scent of home made cooking is often in the air.  I don't know how they find them, but every staff member we encounter is kind, compassionate, and extremely competent.  The staff is excellent at encouraging my father-in-law to participate, but without pushing beyond his comfort level. They treat him with dignity and kindness and he has expressed several times that he likes living here. This has helped to ease the stress of the recent health challenges we have been dealing with.  The owners, Rosalie and Ken, are very quick to respond to any need or questions we have.  They have integrity and have earned our deep trust.  If you are looking for an intimate, homelike environment for your loved one that has a low ratio of staff to residents then I highly recommend Renaissance Care Home.
