We had to transition our dad out of Touchmark's not-so-assisted living after he had a fall and ended up at Rocky Mountain Care Center for several weeks. We had to scramble to find a soft place for him to land as he wouldn't be able to return to Touchmark. We worked with Misty at the Renaissance on Travertine Way and from the get-go we were blown away by the care and compassion Misty and her staff had for their residents. Misty and Krista went the extra mile to assess dad at Rocky and ensure he would be a good fit and that the crew at Renaissance would be able to accommodate his needs. Once we got the green light, we hit the ground running and got him moved in July 2022 and haven't regretted the move not even for one second. The residence is clean and well cared for and the staff and residents are like one big family. The open concept design of the kitchen and living room space and smaller room took dad some time to adjust to, but now he is part of the family. And while he's had a lot of ups and downs health-wise since then, the staff have been so good to him, get him the help he needs, treat him with dignity and compassion and they handle his multiple requests for bourbon with good humor. 🙂 Should you ever have to face the extremely difficult task of finding an assisted living facility for your loved one, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you start your search at the Renaissance on Travertine Way as they will make the process much less daunting and welcome your loved one with open arms.

My mother is a resident at Renaissance Stone Meadow and it is amazing. The personal care and attention she receives is incredible. Her wellbeing is their highest priority. The facility is impeccable and is always being cleaned and sanitized. The caregivers are wonderful, caring people. I highly recommend this place to anyone! Thank you, Vickie Miller

Terrible for dependent stroke victims. No help with wheelchair transfers, toileting, helping the patient get her legs into her bed so she can transfer from sitting on the side of her bed to lying down. She broke her hip trying to use the toilet unassisted. She contracted COVID there.

When management of this facility recently changed then the care changed. My friend was never prepared to leave for a medical appointment; in fact, one day they lost her, had no idea where she was. When I complained to headquarters the response was to evict my friend; no concern about my worries, no offer to talk over the situation for improvement - just, leave. On May 5 I wrote to headquarters..."...I welcome the opportunity to talk with you about these matters and learn what your means of addressing them will be before I begin searching for another residence for Carol....: Eight days later I rec'd the eviction notice. You deleted my response to the above, which was that nobody answered my letter to the headquarters - no concerns - just an eviction. How come my edit was deleted?

My Mother felt safe and secure in their care. She said she loved the food and the personnel and felt very much included in the family-like environment. Those in administration were very approachable and particularly helpful with good advice on a wide range of matters related to the care of mom. The consensus of our family and the family of others who visited their relatives at Renaissance was that this facility was an excellent choice.
