RENAISSANCE WESTON

My parents both spent the final years of their life here and it was a good place for them to live. There were some complaints but they were minor overall. I think this is about the best you will get up in the Wausau area. Dad got tired of the food which is understandable when you eat it the same 'restaurant' every day and they have to cook for a variety of dietary restrictions (no salt etc). There is staff turnover which is typical in these types of places and the commitment of the staff varies which is also typical. Having said that, there are a lot of very committed folks here and my parents got close to a lot of the staff. A lot of the staff really cared about my parents and they were visibly upset when they both passed away. They were accommodating throughout my parent's stay and very helpful after the last one passed away. Renaissance isn't perfect but it is about as close as you can get realistically and I'd consider it for myself if I lived closer.

The workers and all the staff are so very nice. Couldn't ask for any place better. Apartments are beautiful and so many activities.

Had a family member at this place, and it was horrible. The woman at the front desk was very rude on multiple occasions, they ignored my mothers needs, and I couldn't stand dealing with the administrator! Do not take your family member to this place!

This place is the absolute worst. They give no personal care to their residents, and their staff is under qualified. would never recommend to anyone. send your loved one elsewhere.

This place is not good. My father-in-law stayed here for a few weeks early in the year. We were really disappointed with the level of care offered. It's a nice looking, well built facility but it's run very poorly at this time. Look elsewhere.
