RESIDENCE AT OSHKOSH I (THE)

Just moved mom there. The staff and leadership are so engaging with families and residents. That was what was different from other locations we visited. The physical environment is very nice. Mom is in a studio deluxe so it’s super cozy. Gives us great peace of mind she is being well cared for.

We were looking for a place for my Father-in-law and from the moment we walked into the Residence and met Kathy, we felt at home. My Father-in-law moved in one month ago and absolutely loves it. Every single person there is caring and kind. I wish I could name everyone from maintenance, activities, nursing, administration and food service. We haven’t met one person who hasn’t gone out of their way to help. It is very clean and the food is great. They get everyone involved in activities. It really feels like home. We are so happy we chose the Residence. Everyone should use them as a model of the way Seniors should be treated.

After my mother suffered a serious fall and needed long-term care, I visited several senior living communities—but none compared to The Residence, thanks to Kathy Steffen. From the moment I met her, Kathy was warm, professional, and incredibly compassionate. She took the time to truly listen, asked all the right questions, and clearly explained everything The Residence offers—from personalized care to daily routines and community life. Her attention to detail, genuine empathy, and proactive communication gave my brother and I confidence and peace of mind during a very difficult time. Put simply, I’m confident that The Residence will be a wonderful assisted living facility for my mother. Kathy is just outstanding, and our family is so grateful for her support. I look forward to posting a follow-up review of the facility and its staff in the near future.

Wonderful place! Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is so kind and caring to my mom. They really do get the residents engaged in fun activities. The food smells great and gives it a feeling of being at home. Worked with Kathy to get mom a place there and she is phenomenal. She made me feel so comfortable and personally addressed all questions I had quickly and made the whole move in process so easy. She made a stressful time in our lives so much easier and took us through it one step at a time and made my mom feel better about moving into assisted living. I would highly recommend the Residence for your loved one. I really believe they flourish there!

We recently moved Mom into The Residence at Oshkosh and she absolutely loves it! Our main contact was Kathy Steffen and she is a wonderful and very caring person. Kathy was outstanding and showed great patience with mom in guiding her through the entire process. Kathy, and all the other employees, truly care about the residents.
