Wonderful experience for my family. Property is well kept and I knew my father was in good hands.

My father was placed here for rehab. I am appalled at the conditions the patients are kept in. In the middle of a heat wave, there is no air conditioning. Upon request, my mother got a little fan to point at him. As soon as she left, the aide shut the window so he "wouldn't get a draft." It was almost 100. The rooms have no phones. In order to speak to a patient you have to call the main desk and they will bring the patient a portable phone. They only have one. One portable phone for the whole place and it isn't always working. Even when it is working, the aides don't answer the main phone. I called every few hours for days, letting the phone ring until it disconnected and then calling back over and over and over. No one answered. When someone finally did, I was connected to a random man. My father actually overheard the nurses laughing at their "joke." I'm not sure what "therapy" my father received. He says it wasn't much. I live over 500 miles from Belfast and had no way to contact him. No nurse or doctor ever returned my call, even on the rare occasion when I did get to leave a message. If there is any way you can avoid sending your loved one to this place, I'm begging you to take it. I've seen better communication from Dog Kennels.

My Mom was transfer to Tall pines in in June 2017. She received amazing care here from great nurses. She was borderline Res Care or Nursing care but had a Goold assesment done and was rated the lower Res Care but the facility took care of her every need anyways. She was a retired nurse and frankly not always the easiest patient but never any issues with staff or nursing. She just passed away on Friday and I have great respect for the care she was given here. Not easy for us but know she got the best care helps
