RESIDENCE BY RENNES PESHTIGO

My 83 year old mother was here for 2.5 weeks after discharge from the hospital after having her colon removed and having an ileostomy. She ended up back in the hospital with an infection from the ileostomy and passed away. I blame this on Rennes as I believe their CNA staff is not trained in caring for ileostomies as I had to assist the CNA once to empty my mothers bag and was told by her that she doesn't have experience in doing this.

I use Rennes East for Respite Care. Staff is so kind from the moment you walk through the door. I received a call from Activity Coordinator, Admissions, and Dietary prior to my mom going. Carla is amazing to work with, and very organized. Tony, the young man whom transported my mom was such a sweetheart. He made my mom feel so comfortable! They pay attention to detail, and I am so grateful for the break and knowing my mom is taken care of!

Very courteous and friendly staff

Very disappointed with this facility. 1st of all they lost my dad's false teeth several weeks ago. Last week he was served a cucumber salad. Really? They also lost his hearing aids. How can this be possible?!? He also needs a better wheelchair. The one he sits in 10 hours a day has a low back. He cannot sit up long as he is 94 years old. He needs some back support. These patients are in their end of life and need to be treated with respect & cared for with compassion.
