Love the homey atmosphere. Dad is thriving there.

What a wonderful, caring, loving environment this is. I wish I could give them10 stars. The owners and the aids treated my partner with kindness, dignity, and A+ care all the way. If you’re looking for a place for your loved one this place is top-of-the-line excellent in a small home-like environment.

My (retired home care nurse) friend suggested The Residence to me for my Dad. He was a very simple, country loving man. I knew he would hate the big showy, highly populated homes. So, when I met with Susie (owner) at the Residence, I was very pleased with the small quaint home, and one-on-one attention. I knew it was the perfect place to bring him. They were always accommodating and sweet. I got to design my Dad’s room the way I wanted to make him feel more comfortable. They really were great throughout his 5 years there. The communication was good also. He passed away recently. I’m grateful for them. I always had peace in my heart because I knew he was in good hands. Thank you Susie, Siju, Rosemary and staff.

My mother-in-law has recently moved into the Residence of Stuart. She needs assistance with daily living and we looked at large ALFs and nursing homes before selecting the Residence of Stuart. While it is not a new facility, the care and compassion is heartwarming. If you're looking for a fancy place with chefs and outings, this is not your place. If you're looking for a place that feels like home with love and caring - this is a great place.
