RESTORATION AT SIMPSONVILLE

My mother in law was given the best care at Restoration. The entire staff understood her needs and treated her like family. The facility is extremely clean and well maintained. Placing a loved one in assisted living is never an easy decision but the staff at Restoration made the transition effortless.

I would never recommend Restoration at Simpsonville. I had a loved one there for 10 months in Memory Care from the Fall of 2024 to Summer 2025. Then I moved my loved one to another memory Care facility in the area. After only a week I was appalled with myself that I didn't move them sooner.

It is with sadness I write this honest and transparent review because I did everything possible to give Restoration the time to correct the many inadequacies their facility failed to provide for My Loved One while being a Resident for only 2 1/2 months. After three weeks of her being there and at least 3 called meetings with the Directors, Head Nurse, etc., I knew that this was not the facility for them because they were not receiving the care needed for a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s. Therefore, I do not recommend anyone placing their loved one in this facility because the majority of the staff is lackadaisical, some appear to be mean spirited, they are understaffed, and the skill set was less than subpar. It’s so sad because Restoration could be one of the leading Assisted Living & Memory Care Facilities in the Upstate but Corporate continues to not make the urgent decisions for change.

I could not have chosen a better assisted living for my parents! My mom has since passed away and my dad still resides at RSL. The staff treated my sweet mom with dignity, respect and kindness up until the last moment of her life. Each staff member is absolutely amazing and knows how to treat the elderly. Choosing a senior living facility for my parents has been one of the most important decisions for me and one I did not take lightly. I am so happy that my parents have been so well taken care of. I cannot say enough positive things about Restoration. They are truly a team that is dedicated and loves each resident as if they are family.

Amber Morse, the Director of Sales and Marketing, is the best. As a Community Partner you could not ask for a more caring and committed person to care for the seniors at Restoration.
