Riderwood is absolutely wonderful! Beautiful campus, fantastic amenities, and a vibrant community. The perfect place to enjoy retirement with peace of mind. Highly recommend!

My mother moved out in November, over 60 days ago, and Riderwood has not refunded the roughly $180,000 she is owed from her deposit. We need that money to pay for her care. Be forewarned if you go here that they will not be transparent, and getting them to follow their contracts is a struggle.

My parents have been residing there for over ten years. It is a fantastic, well thought out community with many activities, resources, and healthy dining choices for residents.

Riderwood is not the place for everyone. With that being said, my biggest complaint is that if you decide to leave you wait over a year to get your deposit back and you loose about 60,000.00. My mother left as we did not think the care was as good in the assisted living as other places could offer. We left. We still do not have her money back. Its been almost a year. This is too long to wait for some and they are stuck. Once you leave, the employees are rude and uncaring. It's a scam beware! Independent living is nice but hope you never need more care because you won't get it there.

I had the chance to visit the place on a number of occasions to see a dear friend. The place is clean and bright and comfortable. People seemed happy.
