One of the owners was so kind to hire the executive director when she was a very young lady alone here after her family left due to urgent issues over 20 years ago. She had been working as a teen to help pay her family's bills. Then, her family left the area. But she stayed here. The owner became her biggest supporter. Over the decades he gradually showed her the administrative ropes, training her to take charge. He very generously houses several of her younger relatives at this business too, and also employees her other family member(s) and/or their partner(s). She knows how to make do with items at hand. But if she ever does ask, he always grants her business requests. Asbestos was scheduled to be removed in 2021 & as far as I know, it was completed.
