We considered Ridgewood for both of my parents as their care needs were changing. Ridgewood is a clean, well run facility in a beautiful setting. The staff was wonderful to work with. They have independent living, assisted living, and memory care, all of which provide excellent services for the residents. Plus, they offer a type of contract service with a medical provider that can meet the residents’ needs at Ridgewood, without traveling to doctors’ offices. I would highly recommend this facility and all of the staff there!

Ridgewood Senior Living is top-notch! The entire staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making life better for their residents. You can tell they love what they do — the positive energy throughout the building is contagious. I especially want to recognize Amanda, the Sales Director. She is truly a gem! From our first conversation, Amanda made us feel heard, valued, and confident in our decision. She’s knowledgeable, responsive, and has such a calming, caring presence that makes the whole process feel easy. If you’re exploring senior living options, do yourself a favor and visit Ridgewood. You’ll feel the difference the moment you walk through the door.

Just an exceptional destination for any family member in need of kind, compassionate and professional care in an environment that really becomes an extended family – the community of residence there are without exception, wonderful people, and you can see how happy they are just by walking through the dining hall and listening to the conversations and see the smiles on the faces– the food is good. The variety of activities include a pool table—a courtyard—bingo—as well as the lovely chapel and various game rooms that make for lots of interesting possibilities. The rooms are lovely and the management under Amy and Shelly is the best – we highly recommend Ridgewood for anybody who wants to give a family member the best possible treatment in the most nurturing environment

We interviewed 12 places before choosing Ridgewood for its homey feel. Dan, at the front desk, made us feel so welcome and made a point of visiting with mom and even helping with her pets. There were some very kind med aids but there aren’t enough of them. They are dishonest about how many employees work at night. Mom fell at 2 am and laid on the floor bleeding profusely for over an hour before her 90 year old neighbor heard her crying. Her button was covered in blood but didn’t work. The only employee was sleeping upstairs and got so flustered he sent her to the hospital without identification and didn’t call us. When new staff came at 6am, they called me and told me she was at the hospital but they didn’t know where. I had to call all hospitals for a Jane Doe that was admitted. Visited 2 before I found her. Shortly after that time, her button didn’t work again and they said it couldn’t be fixed bc it was the weekend. Yet another time, they gave her a button that went to the wrong room. Her toilet overflowed and they told her guest where the mop closet was and made her clean it up. What if mom had not had someone there. Would she have had to clean it up herself. Administration was not responsive to our concerns. We stayed as long as we did because of Dan but I understand, he is no longer there. This is only a short list of things that happened to us. Be very very careful before leaving someone you love here.
