Great facility. The people are amazing. The facility is very clean. Cindy at the front desk is amazing, always there to help, staying patient through my numerous phone calls. She's a true professional. Tricia was there to help my Mom get acclimated which was a bit of a struggle at first. All the nurses and aides went above and beyond, as well. There was always fun activities to do for the residents. Very caring staff. Highly recommend this facility.

Such a great community! My grandmother was here and the care was terrific. Not to mention super close to home being in the heart of Valparaiso.

Our experience at A viva has been very positive. Dealing with Alzheimer's patients takes an enormous amount of patience and expertise. You'll find these qualities in the staff in Aviv a memory care.

After researching Memory Care & Assisted Living in the Valparaiso area, I toured several facilities. I attended a few seminars at AVIVA and met with Tricia Catlin, Marketing Director, on a couple of visits. I needed a 3 week stay for my wife while I was on a trip. We met with the nursing director who evaluated my wife for a stay in Assisted Living. I found the staff very caring, the facility was well maintained, and the food menus appeared good. My wife stayed there 3 weeks and was very pleased with the staff, her apartment, and the food. AVIVA is in a good location and provides optional activities for residents to participate in. Tricia Catlin, was excellent to work with and followed up on every inquiry I made. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of Assisted Living or Memory Care.

My mother has lived here for over five years, it worsened after the sale to Aviva, and it is going downhill fast. Currently there is a bedbug infestation that they did not properly address in the beginning and do not seem to be able to control. They give no updates; I talked to a nurse and the pest man and got the truth; today they lied to a resident who expressed concerns. They raised our rent significantly and refused to answer questions about it, after admitting that the “formula” looked suspicious. At one point, the executive director accused me of wanting free care because I had questions (we have paid them hundreds of thousands of dollars and not been late on rent one time)! Most people are afraid to say anything bad for fear of their rent going up. That is why you will not see bad reviews on here. My mom is on hospice so I have decided to speak, regardless, in order to help other people. BTW, either my sister or I are on site almost every day. I suspect that many of the people writing these positive reviews for their family member are not here as often and are not seeing what really goes on. Not criticizing them; just encouraging them to look more closely. Rose colored glasses?
