Riverside

Staff members continue to work as a team to provide support for the residents. The nursing staff remain diligent in their cares and support. The facility is clean and dietary deliver tasty meals with activity staff providing enrichment for day to day staff. Staff goes above and beyond to treat the residents as family.

I have to admit that I didn't have very high expectations for this facility before visiting my dear friend that was moved into Riverside in St Louis Michigan. However after I got there I was wrong. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The facility was clean and not what I was expecting. The building may be old but the people working there are very accommodating and seem to be a very well operated facility.

All I can say is that the facility is horrible, but she received love from 3 special girls that worked there. My mom was there and I finally transferred her to another place, but I want to thank, from the bottom of my heart, Andria and Laura. They helped me with all the paperwork, kept in touch with me every week and they gave my mom so much love. Also, thanks to Annie the day weekend nurse. She was amazing! I hope that who ever runs this facility takes the time to take care of the place to make the patients feel like home and make it a better environment for the workers.

I'm currently staying here. Don't send your loved ones here. The staff is useless. They won't help me at all and blame me for why they can't do their jobs. They can't even take responsibility or accountability for their actions. This isn't a nursing home. It's a concentration camp for the sickly.

If you want your loved ones take care of DON'T take them to this place. They only gave my loved a shower when they knew we were coming to him. They left him in his room while he was vomiting to get water and come back and he was gone. They never gave him CPR or call 911. They had a nurse that only been employed for 4 days be the one that told us. So many questions and know an answers. I hope you think before you go to that place. It needs to be shut down!! It doesn't get a one star from me. -10
