Riverwood Assisted Living Facility

Very nasty looking place. We're ready to leave when we got to entrance Did enter front hall and left.

This place is the most digusting place. They used to own Shallotte Assisted living in Brunswick county. Look up that place for the police report. It is now a Christian Recovery place for men ran by the state of nc.

Found one of there residents walking in the middle of Dobson! Very confused, possibly Dementia. Very sad this happens and often because the police knew who she was because it's happened before! Do not recommend at all!!!! Do better Riverwood or shut it down!!

My brother has been at Riverwood for almost 4 years now. He has been at three other facilities before this and none of them can hold a candle to this place. I know first hand that the owners are kind, caring people. They see to all of the needs of my brother. The hired staff are competent and courteous and the facilities are far cleaner than most I have seen. And the food is excellent. I know this because my brother has told me so. Matthew has been very happy since he began residing at Riverwood. I wouldn't consider anyplace else for him.

My brother lives at Riverwood and they take very good care of him.. The staff are excellent and kind, hard working people. My brother wouldn't stay at any other facility. 5 stars.
