For a group home, it's actually pretty tolerable. It has generally positive vibes, you have freedom to leave to go into town until 10 PM, and the staff are mostly fair and reasonable. It's still a group home though, so while I wouldn't say it's "fun", there are certainly worse group homes to end up in.

A certified place going to and from the nursing home is my best description (Even from some bad relations I have with certain people I know. Had more fun in a Mental Asylum.) They settle you in and then don't have many fun things for you to do. I had my hopes so high up to leave my parents and I have to go back to them basically immediately because goals are so hard to get to. Parents won't be any better.

I was visiting my boyfriend at the Heller house which is supposedly owned in conjunction with the Berry house. The front stairs of the Heller house 195 7th st are unsafe and a huge safety hazard. You walk up the concrete steps and you wobble. You try to hold onto the metal railing on the right side and it sways back and forth. Any normal person can trip and fall and break something or worse. This hasn't happened overnight this is months worth if not years worth of neglect. I feel horrible for anyone who lives there and pray and hope no one else falls and breaks a wrist like my boyfriend did. If someone else does get hurt the owner of the house should be the one to pay the medical bills not the person who fell and hurt themselves.
