My beloved father passed away four months after my parents moved into Rose Schnitzer. My siblings and I could not be happier with the love and support the Rose Schnitzer staff and residents have given to our mom since his passing. If you want a place where you know your parents will be cared for, this is it.

My family and I were lucky to find Rose Schnitzer Manor for our loved one a few months ago. The staff helped make her transition smooth and she has settled into her “new home” beautifully. The programming of events, delicious food and forest like setting all make this a unique place. We looked at a lot of top-end places comparable to Rose Schnitzer Manor around Portland such as Willamette View and Mary’s Woods in Lake Oswego. Unlike its competitors RSM does not charge the hefty 6 figure buy-in and is more of a rental model. RSM was also able to seamlessly provide a few additional services for our Aunt that made her life easier and safer. It allowed us to sleep better at night knowing she was well cared for. We highly recommend Rose Schnitzer Manor.

I love Rose Schnitzer Manor! I have lived here for 3 months and I immediately felt warmly welcomed by the staff and fellow residents. The food is superb. I always recount my meal to my family and they are jealous. The activities are varied from musical performances to lectures to book groups, to games and even a weekly happy hour! My personal experience has been that the staff are loving, attentive and kind. They understand people with age or disability challenges.I recommend it without reservation. DG
