After less than one month at rose our family moved to my husend back home from rose senior living. Among several issues the main concern was the staff's apparent lack of training in how to give a shower to someone with limited mobility. Consequently despite several requests, my husband when for 8 days without a full shower. The cleanliness in the bathroom was uneven with wet wash clothes and hand towels On the floor and the commode one day was so dirty that it cannot be described in this review. This facility It is beautiful but terribly understaffed. Although my husband had been assessed as needing assistance from two aides to stand and transition from the bed or a Chair to his wheelchair on some nights, only one aid was available and we were told that other aides were too busy with other residents. Because we were paying for a higher level of care above and beyond the rent, this situation in my view was unsafe and unsatisfactory. My husband had three skin tears on his legs as a result. One night his help alert button worn on his wrist was missing. A very nice nurse made inquiries and found that the help button had not been functioning and was taken for repairs. Although it was supposed to have been returned right away, it instead had been locked up and was unavailable. Since my husband would have no way to call for help if needed, I was told that the night staff would check on him every hour. I needless to say our family would not recommend Rose Senior Living.

I just toured the Community today, and Im just in aww of the professionalism I encountered. Beyond the building being aesthecially pleasing, the customer service was amazing Kathy walked me through the Community, and answered all of my questions, and I had a lot of them Lol. She was so patient, and understanding, I also meet the Executive Director Shaunda Greys who went above and beyond to let me know that my mother will be a priority at the facility. This experience has made me team Rose Senior living.

Hi, lived upstate NY for about a year. Started to have problems with my balance and fell a couple of times so my sister said I needed to be closer to family. We started to look for an independent place to live. Rose Senior Living was the first place on the internet. What I like was the size of the rooms and the large appliances. When I got hear the staff went over the top to help me move in and get set up. From that point everything was great and still is. ( Great place to live )
