RUSTIC RETREAT

Updated Review: Jan 2026 June and her staff provided the such a caring and loving atmosphere that honored and preserved the dignity of my military veteran Uncle. He was a resident for ten years. The whole facility and the grounds were clean and always decorated relevant to the season or holiday. June and Cathy always went above and beyond and treated each resident like they were family.......... When my Uncle's last hours were upon us, they stayed with me way past "closing time"....... Their support was never ending. Thank you from the bottom of my heart 2018(?) Very caring staff. Very clean and serene facility. Peaches, Benoit, and June are amazing. Everyone treated like family. I am very grateful for the care given to my uncle.

My mother was a resident at Rustic Retreat for two years and I cannot say enough positive things about it. Don't let the unassuming front and location fool you, this is a great ALF with caring staff. The management, staff and residents could not have been better. We had a real challenge placing my mom, she was very averse to going to an ALF and we had tried two places before this one. She had hated the institutional, depressing vibe the prior ones gave off. Rustic Retreat feels more like an old Key West Motel, back in time. There are lots of plants and openness to the outdoors from every room. My mom loved it and called her room "her little apartment". Some of the staff have been there for decades, which is not the norm in this industry at ALL, they got to know my mother, understood her personality and made her feel welcome and respected. I'll take that over a nice entryway and address any day.

Rustic retreat is wonderful!! It’s like a little oasis in South Florida, it has a nice outdoor area with a large gazebo,lots of trees and plants.It also has a key west vibe to it. But most importantly the people there are caring,clean, kind and professional!!😊 My husband is a resident and I have the comfort of knowing that he is in good hands. If you have a love one who needs a safe, healthy place to go because of health issues..dementia etc. I would definitely go check out Rustic Retreat!!! They care 💕☺️👍🏼
