My father will be there 2 years this coming spring and is very happy with his room and all of the staff. They are doing an incredible job in this hard time of this Covid era. They are taking every precautionary measure to ensure that all of our family members stay safe and healthy. It is very hard on our family members not being able to have in house visitation but with an appointment we can at least go and have a short visit in a controlled environment. All of the staff members that I have met have been very supportive and helpful.

It’s easy for me to give the Rutledge Home a five star rating. The Rutledge Home and the staff are absolutely amazing. We worried about what was the right facility to place our mom, but now we know we made the right choice. You can tell everyone cares about your loved one and it’s more than just a job to them. If you’re considering this place, I’m 100% confident you and your loved one will love it and have no regrets.

Rutledge home is very secretive about their clients care. They will only communicate through the poa or not at all if you have no legal authority on behalf of your loved one in care. They acted as though they owned my mom. I was locked out of her room and they wouldn’t tell me why due to privacy issues. Yet three confused residents could wander in and out of my mom’s room and she didn’t get the option to move. I was cut out of her care and she never stabilized in their care. I tried to get her to the emergency room one day but got into an argument with the former head nurse. She said my mom was fine and that she didn’t need a nursing home and inferred that I was overreacting and that she was angry my mom didn’t transport because Rutledge would have to pay. I yelled at her that something was wrong and I couldn’t ignore it. A month later my mom was evaluated by an aid. The nurse also said that their aids were so experienced that they could evaluate clients well enough to decide if they went to the er. Well this time she did go to the er and she came back in hospice. She didn’t eat or drink for over three weeks. I’m pretty sure my mom would give Rutledge home an F rating.
