Saginaw Bickford Cottage

I was on a time crunch bringing my aunt up from Oklahoma. I called Bickford, the front desk put me in town with Melissa (mel) and she fit me into her busy schedule without issue. I got an excellent tour, I knew what to fully expect and what I had to do on my end. Mel and her team were very accommodating and helpful. Even when I drove through the night and showed up 2 hours early, they were on top of the situation and very helpful towards my aunt and I. My aunt has enjoyed her stay, the engaging staff, the activities and her privacy when she wanted it. I would highly recommend Bickford for anyone that is thinking they want to look into assisted living. Thank you Mel and team!

Bickford of Saginaw Township has been a true blessing to our family in the care of my mother-in-law. Executive Director Mel Kline creates a warm, supportive environment and she's been consistently present, responsive, and is actively engaged with both residents and family. Mel made us feel heard and supported when we had questions or any concerns, which made all the difference throughout our loved one's time there. The staff went out of their way to bless her with smiles, gentleness, and genuine kindness, and as her care needs increased, the Bickford team coordinated with family and hospice, and cared for her with respect. Room accommodations were comfortable and homey, and the facility is thoughtfully designed with welcoming spaces that made family visits and gatherings easy and meaningful. We are deeply grateful for the excellent care and heartfelt support from everyone at Bickford.

My mom has been living at Bickford (Saginaw township) for just over one year. Mel and her entire staff have been fantastic not only with my mom but with me also. They do make everyone feel like family. My questions or concerns have always been addressed in a timely manner. I am confident that my mom is safe at all times. I appreciate how patient they are with her "issues" and they always seem happy to help her. She says the food is good..another plus. They have great activities that they always attempt to get her involved in. I would highly recommend Bickford to anyone dealing with the terrible disease of dementia. I know they have made my life easier and I feel secure in my mom's care.
