SAM L. COHEN CENTER

So my dad has alzheimers and I am him caregiver and we are all under one roof now. My dad has his own space above the3 car garage. Things have been changing for him and well, I am having a rough time too. I had heard about Agency on Aging so I reached out. They have a senior center within this agency in biddeford. We went to check it out. Brand new building bright colors, great pics everywhere. Once inside I was so taken by they colors, the attitudes of the staff and the seniors. Food, exercise, games to help with memory, social networking, music, I could go on and on. My dad, who is very shy tried it out. On his first day he went to exercise class, was entertained by a singer, had a lovely lunch and even contributed to a discussion! His response when I picked him up was....I don't remember any details but the staff did. Change is hard but we are going to keep going and my heart is happy. I want the best for him and I think they are going to make a huge difference in his and my life.

They are great. The staff does everything they can to accommodate. My mom loves it there. I don't have to worry about her while I am at work.

Awesome Place to spend time with Great People! The Staff are absolutely fantastic and The Members are Fun to interact with!

97 year old mother with dementia. Loves to go there. Staff is awesome, my mother loves the food. But most of all loves the activities. She can't wait to go says it's like a family.

Great facility and great staff. Just went on a tour and was very impressed.
