SAN DIMAS RETIREMENT CENTER

My husband is there in the memory care part. Each caregiver and LVN are truly angels, the way they treat each Individual resident. When I leave I know I am leaving him in good hands. We are so fortunate that there are places like this. They truly all care.

It badly needs a review board, sponsored by its residents, that will ensure it is quality and a positive outcomes. Currently, this administration is not truly open to suggestions...by its residents... The food is of poor quality, and the support staff are often understaffed. Residents often go without assistance... I currently rate this facility 3 out of five stars...

Love this place! Yes, it’s good BUT they cannot get moms scheduled shower days correct. In her chart it says she’s supposed to have a shower twice a week by a female shower person. For 8 months, we have delt with this issue, often times mom going 2 weeks without a shower. I have called numerous times and spoken with administrators about this and still nothing has been done! I have traveled over 42 miles to give mom a shower when she needed one. The organization there is severely lacking. Once they get their act together, consistently, I will post a more favorable review. Over 3 years ago I traveled many miles to find a proper retirement center for mom. I picked this place since they were top notch although, they are severely lacking in many areas at this time. New admin. Do not have it together. It’s my hopes they will improve. Please help!

I have both my parents there and I agree with what reviews are saying about the home. But the one thing that all the residents complain about is the food. They claim that all the meals are horrible. I think I that the administration needs to look into who is creating the meals and how much food is getting wasted because they do not like the food that is been served there. I hope that this matter gets looked into. Because it is about making the residents that live there happy and comfortable. Thank you

We feel lucky to have found San Dimas Retirement for our Mother. The staff takes real good care of her needs and are very helpful. I always find the rooms and grounds very clean. Try it. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
