This is more than just a review of Sunshine ALF; it's a heartfelt recognition of this facility and its incredible staff. My mother has been a resident here for over two years, and I visit her several times per week. This has given me ample time to form a well-rounded opinion. Sunshine ALF is a wonderful place for the elderly. The facility stands out for several reasons: Impeccable Cleanliness: The facility has always been spotless during my visits. Nutritious Meals: Meals are planned by a nutritionist, are well-balanced, and prepared in-housed daily with freshly bought ingredients. Private Rooms: Each resident has their own private room, which was a significant factor in our decision. However, what truly sets Sunshine ALF apart is the staff. Words like compassionate, caring, dedicated, loving, and funny come to mind. The convivial atmosphere they create transcends what one thinks of an ALF. The staff genuinely cares about the residents' well-being, going above and beyond every day to ensure they are safe, healthy, and happy. We couldn't have found a better place for my mother.

We were blessed to find this Assisted Living Facility over a year ago. We needed a place to care for our elderly mother after a long hospital stay. After visiting several places, we decided to place her at Sunshine Home ALF. The quality of care, compassion, and attention are everything that my siblings and I needed for her. The family-like atmosphere and the delicious home-cooked meals make Sunshine ALF a wonderful place for elderly folks who cannot take care of themselves. The director is always a text or a call away and his response time is almost immediate. He is always pleasant, helpful, and willing to find solutions to even minor issues. I recommended this facility to one of my friends and she also placed her father there, as well. Definitely a 5 star business.

My mother was a resident of Sunshine ALF for almost 4 years. She recently passed away. During that time I visited her every day. Most families visit their relatives two o three times a week. This facility has a very flexible visiting policy. Sunshine ALF is a very well managed facility. Sparkling clean, homemade meals served every day and a family oriented atmosphere. The In-house staff, as well as the medical personnel providing their services, are well trained and always maintain a caring attitude.

I am extremely pleased and grateful for the exceptional attention and loving care that my mother, Cary received at the assisted living facility. The staff went above and beyond to ensure her well-being and comfort, and I am truly appreciative of their dedication and compassion. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my mother and our family. I highly recommend Sunshine Home to anyone looking for a safe, nurturing environment for their loved ones.

I am writing this review to express my deep concern about the conditions and quality of care provided at this Assistance Living Facility, where my loved one has been a resident. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory, and I feel compelled to bring these matters to your attention. Firstly, I must address my reservations about the professionalism of the facility's owner. It has been disheartening to observe a lack of responsiveness to concerns raised, as well as a tendency to side with the staff rather than addressing issues affecting the residents. Furthermore, there appears to be a reluctance to entertain feedback, creating an environment that is less than conducive to open communication. In addition, during my loved one's stay, I encountered challenges in advocating for their well-being. The owner insisted on signed agreements regarding the quality of care, seemingly more as a legal safeguard than a commitment to ensuring the best interests of the residents. This approach raises questions about the facility's dedication to providing optimal care for senior patients. Regrettably, my interactions with some of the employees, particularly an individual named Irma, have been disappointing. Irma's demeanor and approach towards elderly residents were, in my opinion, inappropriate. I believe that the overall lack of accountability and support from management has contributed to an environment where staff members are not held to the highest standards of care. I have decided to seek alternative arrangements for my loved one's care, as I believe they deserve a more compassionate and professionally managed environment. Furthermore, I feel compelled to report my concerns to the Florida Department of Health to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to address these issues. While I respect the importance of confidentiality under HIPAA regulations, I find it necessary to raise awareness about my experience without divulging specific details of mistreatment. For anyone putting their loved ones into this facility, please think it twice and save the headache.
