SARAH'S RETIREMENT HOME FOR DD SENIORS

Where do I start? My siblings and I found Silva for my terminally ill father through a service Kaiser referred to us, and we are so blessed we did. My father was given 30 days to live and discharged to hospice care. Helen and her husband Joel opened their care home and took him in as a member of their family. My dad describes the home as a “sanctuary” and loves it there. Helen, Joel, May and staff are so loving , caring and attentive. The home itself is beautiful, clean , & cozy with fresh flowers, homemade meals , beautiful grounds containing flowers, fruit trees , Hummingbird feeders and so much more. My father is transitioning now , and Helen & Joel are by his side, turning him every 2 hours to avoid bed sores, keeping his mouth moist and giving him comfort care. Silva is an amazing facility, that truly cares about your loved one !

After a dear friend was placed here we came to know Silva House very well. The owners and staff are very kind, warm and caring. The meals were healthy and fresh, and the home is spotless! Helen and Joel couldn’t be more attentive to their residents’ needs. If you have a loved one who needs a safe place to live, go see for yourself.

The folks at Silva are simply awesome! Helen & Joel and their staff are truly kind, attentive, sensitive, caring people; they nurture their residents beautifully. It’s very much a family atmosphere, right down to Jakey the cat who is a love sponge 😁 They also celebrate birthdays and holidays in style! We feel so good about having our loved one in their care. We highly recommend them 👍☺️

My mother was at Silva Board and Care under Helen and Joel’s care for 4 ½ happy years. While she was there, her condition improved dramatically. She began to sit up, eat by herself, and started to laugh and to interact with the other residents and the other care givers. We could not have found for a better place for her. Helen and Joel did an excellent job caring for my mother. Thanks to them, she had the best last four years of her life. My mother was with Joel and Helen for 7 and 1/2 years and we were very pleased. So much so that we just signed up for the care of my wife's 94 year old mother who we need help with. Often care homes will advertise how they treat their clients like "family". Joel and Helen and their staff really do. Many relatives of those who died at the home still come to the Christmas Party months and years after their old ones are gone. That speaks volumes.
