Sarez Assisted Living

It can be quite stressful to find the right place for your loved ones to live out their golden years, because, of course, you want them to be as comfortable as possible and don't want them to be neglected or mistreated. Unfortunately, I believe that’s exactly what happened to my mother at her previous assisted living facility. My family and I knew we had to move her out of there before things further deteriorated, but we were quickly running short on options, as my mother had advanced dementia as well as mobility challenges, so she required a very high level of care. We may have never become aware of Sarez were it not for a wonderful social worker who steered us in their direction, and what a blessing that turned out to be. I can’t describe how reassuring it felt to no longer have restless nights without much sleep, anticipating and dreading a middle of the night call from Ma's former facility that she fell out of bed and/or injured her head and was transported to the hospital. Once she arrived at Sarez, that stopped. We knew that she was finally in capable, attentive, caring hands, which in turn gave us tremendous peace of mind, and you really can’t put a price on that. Also, if you’re wondering about the menu/meals…well, my mother became a *very* picky eater in the last few years of her life. Wouldn’t eat much at all where she was before. At Sarez, she’d clean her plate without fail and sometimes ask for more! Thank you to Eugene, Francesca, and the wonderful staff (too many to name here) - my family and I are truly grateful that Ma got to experience her sunset with you all.
