Seaside Terrace is a hidden gem in Fountain Valley. The Administration cares for the residents and keeps them in a safe and happy environment. Very diverse group of residents. They even has a Vietnamese community inside the facility. Great place for your parents that you don’t have to feel guilty about

Firstly, I have a relative who has lived there for four years, and in the last two years, Seaside has changed a lot since the new management took over. Everything has been for the better. They've remodeled the building inside and out, and my friend has a new room with a walk-in shower. The building smells wonderful from the moment I walk in. The staff are always helpful in every way. Of course, every place like this has its flaws, but Seaside is improving. The care isn't perfect, but I'm happy. These people have a lot of work to do with the residents, as they are very demanding. A year ago, I witnessed a situation between a staff member and a resident, and the patience the young man showed the resident was excellent. I liked how he handled the situation, and I was hiding on the sofa. I'm truly happy to have my relative here, as she comes from three different places, and this has been the perfect place for her. Thank you for the work you do, Seaside staff

I pulled a muscle in my upper leg instead of being concerned about me I got told by a caregiver here to walk it off, and then I was requesting assistance from one of the other caregivers instead of getting that I got yelled at by the medicine tech named Jennifer! These guys don't care about the residents here and I seriously want out of here! And some of the residents here are crazy like the roommate I have started a fight with me and dared me to hit her and I didn't but she went around telling everyone that I did when I didn't hit her at all! This place is too much for me and I want to go! I wouldn't recommend anyone bringing their love one here! These guys are the worst I've ever dealt with in my whole life! Not only the staff is racist and rude but they allowed my crazy roommate to lie to them once again! Why I said that? Is because not only is she lying about me hitting her she's lying about the fan being on when I haven't had it on in a couple of days! And with the pulled muscle in my upper right leg tonight they expected me to stand on it! And for the first time today they finally gave me Tylenol for the pain I'm in! It only I can give them something lower than 1 star I would!

The afternoon and nighttime caregivers are terrible. The Front desk staff gets irritated when you call for a diaper change for those persons like myself that have incontinence. Also If you are not in your room when they are doing changes, they make you wait until the next change and this can be hours in a wet diaper. I am currently searching for other assisted living places and definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.

I just moved my husband out of Seaside Terrace. Do NOT under any circumstances place your loved one here. The staff appear to have no training at all and are not interested in providing care, particularly to the level you need and expect for memory care. They allowed my husband to dictate what he would and wouldn't do, resulting in him rarely bathing and infrequently eating. He has lost 20 pounds in the 4-5 months I had him there. After moving him out, I also discovered that several of his medications including his dementia medication have run out and was never told that I needed to order refills. The administration does not provide invoices or bills, so if you need one for your records or insurance purposes you have to ask them to generate them. The building itself is run down, and the memory care unit frequently smells like urine. My husband's room was irregularly cleaned, or the linens changed. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. If I could give this place 0 stars I would.
