SENIOR CARE VILLA OF LOOMIS

Genuinely great care facility. Shreetika runs the building very well. She’s attentive, responsive, and truly cares, and it shows in how smoothly everything operates. As a hospice nurse, I’m usually not a fan of care homes at all. This is one of the few places where I would truly feel comfortable placing a family member if needed. I would absolutely recommend this memory care home.

My sister-in-law is a recent resident of the Senior Care Villa of Loomis. Our family is beyond grateful at the care she has received. The staff is AMAZING. Caring, understanding, and compassionate are just a few adjectives to describe the excellent care my sister-in-law is receiving at the Villa. Most importantly, she is happy and content at the Villa.

I have been extremely impressed with the level of care and attention from Executive Director, Ilona Corpus and her staff to the residents. The staff is incredibly kind and compassionate, they go above and beyond to ensure the residents are comfortable and well-cared for. When I visit the residents are always engaged and social activities with the staff providing activities for them to participate in. They interact with dignity & compassion and know how to engage all the different personalities of the residents. The level of care is consistent. The residents have the freedom to move around their "home" with outdoor access anytime they want it, in a secure manner. It does not feel closed in & visitors come & go without any prior announcement of their arrival. Highly recommend!!

After unpleasant experiences at two senior care facilities run by big corporations, I found Senior Care Villa for my mom. They focus on memory care rather than trying to accommodate all three categories of senior care: independent, assisted, and memory. In my experience with the fancy corporate care facilities, the memory care patients did not receive a level of care commensurate with the fees charged. That is not the case at Senior Care Villa. The management and staff truly understand memory care patients and are able to accommodate their varied needs effectively and with compassion. Mom was happiest at Senior Care Villa. Mitch F.

We visited half a dozen memory care facilities looking for respite care. We were impressed by the GENUINE caring attitudes & actions of the employees. There was lots of one-on-one attention given to the residents. They interact with dignity & compassion and know how to engage all the different personalities of the residents. After observing on many visits I can confirm that the level of care is consistent. Additionally , the residents have the freedom to move around their “home” away from home and have outdoor access anytime they want it, yet in a secure manner. It does not feel closed in & visitors come & go without any prior announcement of their arrival. Senior Care Villa does not boast or serve gourmet food like so many of the other places we visited do. It is more like regular good, healthy home-cooking. I have noticed there is fresh vegetables &/or fruit with every meal that I have observed. Dementia patients sometimes get anxious & I was either contacted or later told about a few situations and how they helped our loved one get out of the situation. They were able to calm & reassure him everything was okay. Ilona, the Executive Director, and Tamika, the Nurse, are the ones who set the example of a pleasant & kind atmosphere. Their hands-on approach & treatment of each resident shows great leadership. They are very engaged in the day to day communication with the people we entrust them to care for and the employees who play a critical role in the day to day care, and the families they serve. Our loved one improved in his zest for life under their care, a bonus I never would have expected. If you are looking for a place that truly cares & more like a home rather than a showcase, Senior Care Villa of Loomis is the place. I am beyond grateful for the individualized attention our loved one has received and how it seems each & every resident does, too. Lastly, the employees smile to the residents & seem to REALLY know each & every one. Highly recommend!!
