Arry and his team at Sequoia Springs are amazing. When my uncle found himself displaced the quickly welcomed him with open arms and top notch accomodations and care! My uncle thrived in thier community of new friends and great extra-curricular programs. Both of which he enjoyed to the fullest. Thier Tai Chi and outings programs were a perfect fit for him as he lived a life dedicated to exercise and self care. He also enjoys thier lectures, weekly musical events and cooking classes...especially if they were making desserts. My uncle forge many new friendships with other residents and adored the staf members. Our family highly recommends Sequoia Springs. Thank you so much !

My family found themselves in a crisis when an elder family member was potentially unable to return home after a brief stay in the hospital. Thankfully Sequoia Springs was more than understanding and accommodating in helping us navigate one of the most difficult times in our lives. Particularly Ross, who provided empathy and a wealth of knowledge about placing a loved one in care. I would absolutely recommend Sequoia Springs to anyone looking to navigate the difficult and sometimes needed journey of elder homes.

Our 96 year old mother moved to Sequoia Springs seven months ago. It was her decision, and one that she and the family have been very pleased with. Mom is safe, comfortable and getting far better care than we possibly could have provided for her at her home. Staffing is the biggest challenge in this industry and SS is no exception. But what is very different and apparent is how the employees at SS, including management, work together and pitch in where and when it’s needed. Individual care is the priority and every effort is made to meet the different wants and needs of a very diverse group of residents. It’s no easy task, but we have been pleased at how responsive everyone from the business office, to nursing care and the kitchen have been to get to know our Mom and work to make her happy. Is it perfect? No. But every issue or challenge we’ve encountered has been addressed quickly in a positive way. We’re lucky to have this option in our community.

I recently took my mom to inquire about moving here and we were very impressed and pleased with our time with Ross. My mom loved the independent living area, the fact that there was no pressure to move here and the friendliness of the staff we encountered. Sequoia Springs will definitely be a consideration when the time comes.

I was looking for a wonderful place for my 97 year old father to live and called Sequoia Springs in Fortuna. I spoke with Ross. I was so impressed with his warm and positive approach to caring for elderly people, starting with his great listening skills. He appeared to really care about our concerns. He then invited us to come at anytime to take a tour and enjoy a meal while visiting. After speaking with Ross, Sequoia Springs was at the top of my list for consideration. It became an urgent matter to remove my father from his bad living situation that very next day (unbeknownst to us) so we brought him down to the SF Bay Area. He now lives 2 minutes away from me and we’re all very happy that he’s safe and cared for. Had we not had the drama, I’m pretty certain we would have chosen Sequoia Springs. I spoke with other facilities and didn’t get the good vibes I got from Ross. I believe he’s the Manager or maybe the owner. At any rate, call Ross if you need a place that truly cares.
