Serenades at Sonata has been a wonderful experience for our loved one and our family. After touring the facility, we knew it was the right fit. The environment is pristine, rooms are spacious with private bathrooms, and the meals are excellent. The large, beautiful courtyard garden with wide sidewalks is perfect for wheelchair access. It’s become our favorite place to spend time with our loved one, and the shaded garden is where we have our best memories. We also appreciated meeting other families who share the same positive experience. The standout is the management team—Marianne (Director) and Karen (Manager)—who immediately put us at ease, explained everything with compassion, and addressed our anxieties. They genuinely are exceptional and helped us sleep better knowing our loved one was safe. The nursing staff was attentive and caring for both our loved one and our family. We always looked forward to seeing them and were impressed by their attention to detail. Overall, our experience has been amazing.

Bringing my aunt to Serenades at Longwood has been one of the best decisions we've ever made as a family. Watching her settle in, make new friends, and truly blossom here has brought such a deep sense of relief and happiness to us all. For a while, I carried a quiet worry about my aunt. She's always been the heart of our family, full of life and a wonderful sense of humor, but as she got older, I started to notice small changes – a bit more forgetfulness, needing a little extra help around the house. I wanted her to be safe, cared for, and most importantly, still feel engaged and independent. Serenades at Longwood has given her exactly that, and it's far exceeded what I ever hoped for. From the very first visit, we felt a wonderful sense of warmth and genuine care. The building itself is lovely and very well-kept, but it's truly the people that make Serenades special. My positive experience really began with MaryAnn, the Executive Director. She's incredibly impressive – in the best way possible. You can tell immediately how much she cares about the residents. MaryAnn took the time to listen carefully to our family's concerns, to understand my aunt's personality, and really put my mind at ease. She didn't just talk about providing good care; she showed a real understanding of what it means to create a real home where people can thrive. It's clear she sets a high standard for everyone there, and knowing she's in charge gives me so much peace of mind. Then there's Karen. Karen has been an absolute godsend. She was instrumental in guiding us through the entire process, making what could have been a very stressful time feel smooth and even pleasant. Her knowledge and patience were invaluable, and she was always there to answer our endless questions and offer reassurance, always with a kind smile. She truly embodies the compassionate spirit you find at Serenades. The best part, of course, is seeing my aunt herself. She absolutely lights up when she tells me about her art classes, the singalongs, and all the new friends she's made. The other day, she even playfully scolded me for not visiting sooner because she was "too busy!" That sparkle in her eye is definitely back, and it's wonderful to see. The constant worry I used to feel has been replaced by the quiet joy of knowing she's happy and well cared for. To MaryAnn, Karen, and the entire team at Serenades at Longwood: thank you so much. Thank you for not just providing great care, but a real home. Thank you for giving my family the immense comfort of knowing my aunt is thriving in a community where she feels valued, respected, and truly cared for. If you're looking for a place where your loved one will receive wonderful support and enjoy a fulfilling life, I wholeheartedly recommend Serenades at Longwood. It truly offers a priceless gift: peace of mind.

The staff at Serenades stood beside me and assisted me through one of the more difficult times of my life. As my father was declining, the nurses and staff made sure he was comfortable and kept his dignity until the end. Serenades has a monumental task of trying to keep families happy during the hardest of times. Obviously nothing will be perfect during these situations but they made it so much easier to deal with. Will forever be grateful

We brought my mother to this memory care facility on an emergency basis, and the staff was incredibly kind and responsive. The building is clean, bright, and welcoming, which made a stressful situation feel a little easier. They took great care of her right away and have given our family real peace of mind. We’re very grateful for the support.
