Serenity Assisted Living

Disappointed in administration changes. Lack of compassion and empathy towards residents and their families. My sister-in-law was a resident at Serenity for 1&1/2 years. She recently passed. The facility was always clean and welcoming. The staff was professional, compassionate, and patient. I would not hesitate to recommend Serenity for any family facing an assisted living decision for a loved one.

My mother lived on Assisted Living side and before she needed to transition to the memory care unit. Overall she was here a year and a half before her medical needs exceeded the care offered, but I wish she could have stayed. She had so much fun and made friends. She ate well, enjoyed music and art as well as other activities. Staff knew her and I knew the staff. A homey environment - not institutional. Go live here!

Moved my mom into Serenity's Memory Care unit in East Peoria only a few days ago, but it is already evident that the level of care she is receiving far exceeds her previous facility. Caregiver-to-resident ratio is much higher … even double at some times. ALL personal caregivers are also CNAs, which is also an improvement. Food is excellent. Facility is clean and beautiful. Can't express enough how wonderful the staff have been to work with. All are professional, capable, friendly and helpful. And to top it off, the cost is considerably lower too. My only regret is that we didn't make this move sooner. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for top quality, affordable memory care for a loved one.

From my initial contact and tour with Erin to my father becoming a resident the experience has been first class. The staff has been very caring and show the utmost respect for the residents. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. A very tough decision in life was made a lot easier by Serenity and it's staff.
