Serenity Of Commerce

Our family has had an excellent experience with Serenity of Commerce. The staff treats my mother with genuine warmth and respect, and they know her preferences well. The community is clean, well maintained, and the activities team does an outstanding job keeping residents engaged. My mother has lived at Serenity of Commerce for four years, and they have been consistently wonderful to her. We would highly recommend this community to other families. I live in Chicago and previously had a loved one in an assisted living community with national name recognition, but the level of care and staffing was not comparable. The nurse coverage per floor and overall attentiveness at that community did not meet our expectations. We are very fortunate to have our mother at Serenity of Commerce, where you can truly see the care, commitment, and compassion every day. I would also like to recognize the exceptional team members who have supported her: Kelly, Monica, Andrea, Grace, Makayla, Danielle, Sarah, Kim, and Katie.

I have no worries with my mom at Serenity. She has the best of care. It’s easy to tell the care givers really are happy there and have the time to be attentive to each of their residents. They go above and beyond. When my mom had a health issue, and we were out of town, they stayed with her at the hospital until family could get there. When my niece got married, they helped us get her to the wedding and back to Serenity. Just even the little things like making a cake to celebrate her birthday. The residents are treated like family! I highly recommend Serenity if you are looking at needing care for your loved one.

My mother has been here for 3 1/2 years. She has both late stage dementia and is unable to walk. She is checked on regularly throughout the day and night and visits are recorded. She is brought to the breakfast table every morning and is included in activities through the day. The staff is amazing. Kelley, Monica, Danielle, Kim and Katie take wonderful care of my mother. I often see them hugging her and saying they love her. The staff ratio is 1:6 here. Far tighter than many more expensive facilities. I have my mom in the perfect place.

This home is Amazing, it is clean comfortable and safe. All the care givers are great! they love my mom, and she loves them back. All the staff have become part of our family; they give everyone special attention and love to joke around. My mom has accepted she cannot live home alone anymore and is comfortable at Serenity. I am confident she is getting the best care possible, and do not have to worry when I am not there! I also would like to add we have my mom on hospice with Heart to Heart, they are also a blessing!

I can't say enough good things about Serenity of Commerce. My mother was treated like family there. She loved the girls so much. She received excellent care. We never worried that she wasn't being taken care of. They did activities and music, and the meals were all hand made by the staff. I would recommend a smaller setting I think they get much better care. The owner genuinely cared about all the ladies there. I would recommend Serenity over again.
