Serenity Senior Residence 2-Level 2

My mom, Carolyn Roy was @ Serenity Senior Residences for over a year and received excellent care. From the moment we entered the house they welcomed us with open arms. The staff treated her with great care and compassion. Everyone was so friendly and kind. They treated all of us like family. Cheryl, the director of nursing,does an excellent job at keeping high standards of care. Having my mom at Serenity Senior Residences provided me with a great sense of confidence that she was being well cared for. It’s also a small assisted living facility with only 10 patients which is a huge plus. Lot’s of personal care. Thank you Serenity❤️

My mom was at Serenity House Senior residence for at little over a year. It was a hard decision to place her after taking care of her for 8 years in my home with caregivers. Serenity house staff were wonderful in caring for my wheelchair bound mom. They were compassionate and loving. Anytime there was a concern it was addressed immediately and with understanding. The owners are very involved and loving, treating your family member like their own parents. My mother passed last month and again they were so compassionate and loving. My dad was at Serenity for 4 years and would still be there, if he hadn’t passed. The staff was always friendly and helpful. They doted on my dad, like he was part of their family. It was always nice to be acknowledged and my dad being respected. I still try to pass by to see the residents as well as the staff.

One complaint that I have is the new medicine delivery. In my case it has more that doubled the cost for administration and the cost of the medicine more than tripled. I have not seen any improvement over the delivery system that it replaced. Other than the medication, my family is happy with the care that is given and know that my wife is in the best place she can be right now.

My friend, Henry Michael O'Quin, came to Serenity about 4 months ago, from an assisted living facility. In the time he has been at Serenity, I have seen a marked improvement in his cognitive abilities. I suspect this is due to both better administration of his Parkinsons medications and more personal overall care, despite his having been on, medication administration and bathing programs at his previous location. As Michael's POA, I am very pleased with the improvement I see in him. For the first time in 2 years, I'm able to hold normal phone conversations with him. Thanks to all of the staff for your efforts with Michael. They are paying off.
