I haven't been to the dentist in quite a while and (as a new patient) I felt zero judgement whatsoever and had such a welcoming experience from both the hygienist and the dentist. I also appreciated the dentist being upfront about exactly what I needed and what they would submit to my insurance. They didn't rush and made sure to answer all my questions and point me in the direction of where to receive care that was out of the scope of their practice within holland (ortho).

I called the South side Smiles dentistry 1.20.2026. The receptionist was not friendly. She talked to me as if I was a bother. I did not proceed to set an appointment because I thought the rest of the staff would be similar in character. It was a shame that I could not continue because of the unpleasant reception, because I have an extensive amount of work needing done on my teeth. Smiles dentistry lost a lot of money because of the actions of the receptionist this morning.

I cannot recommend Smile South Holland enough. I’ve been a patient for years and have only had good experiences. They are so kind, patient, up-front, and transparent about every part of any appointment, from cleanings to the bigger stuff. Every single person in that office is seriously a joy to interact with, and they are very considerate of your comfort level. They also do everything they can to ensure you receive the best care options that your insurance and wallet can handle.

Our first appointment with our 3-year-old was great! He was nervous in the beginning, but warmed up quickly as they let him get familiar with the tools. We had a great experience at the dentist!

I'm a very anxious person when it comes to visiting the dentist. The staff here was very kind and caring I felt at ease it was the first time I had a hygienist that was pain-free. The doctor was very nice I felt he wasn't going to do anything more than what needed to be done there was no pressure. I wish I didn't have to wait so long to go back to fix the cavity so I'll do another review after that visit.
