My husband, Mike has only been a resident at Shadow Mountain for about a month. It was a very difficult decision to place him in a Memory Care facility, but it was the Best decision that I’ve made. He’s only been there a few weeks and he has Exceeded my expectations in acclimating to his new environment. I am so impressed with the care that he is getting. Every time I go, there is a large group of residents being engaged in some kind of an activity like arts and crafts, games, exercises, and most of all singing and dancing and generally having a good time socializing with other residents and being stimulated in a happy environment. The entire facility has a very warm and comforting, feeling Like living at a resort! I feel that I made the right decision finding the Best place for my loved one! And I feel at peace within myself that it is the best thing for him and me at this time. Gloria and Misty have been amazing administrators who are actively involved with the residents and make them feel like they are part of a big family. Thank you for all you do!

I can’t express how grateful we are to have found Shadow Mountain Memory Care for my Dad, Terry. The experience has exceeded our expectations, starting with the incredibly loving and caring leadership & staff who made our decision easy. The residents enjoy a variety of activities and daily entertainment, and my Dad especially loves the dancing and music. The facility is clean, fresh, and feels like a well-maintained boutique hotel. Shadow Mountain is truly a special place with special people, and we couldn’t be more relieved and happy to have found this wonderful home for my Dad.

I've had an amazing experience with Shadow Mountain Memory Care in Phoenix! The staff is incredibly compassionate and caring, and they truly go above and beyond for the residents. The activities program is outstanding – they offer live entertainment almost every day, keeping everyone engaged and active. Plus, the fun bus outings are a wonderful addition to the daily routine. I couldn't be more impressed with the level of care and attention at Shadow Mountain!

The staff is amazing the culture is one of care and love, each and every person I have encountered here excels in their position. From Caregivers to Administration to Food Service and everyone in between, these people are amazing. My Dad has never been happier and more important healthier than he has been in a long time. He is engaged in activities with encouragement from the team that are age and gender appropriate for his place in this journey. Shadow Mountain is always immaculate and maintained beautifully to create the inviting atmosphere that has allowed my Dad to thrive. My family is sincerely grateful that we were led to Shadow Mountain Memory Care. My mother and father were living in a facility that offered Independent/ Assisted and Memory Care services. Although they offered a variety of services they did not perform any of the services well. When my father was in need of Memory Care services, he was placed behind a locked door. What happened behind that door was a tragedy. Two care givers for 40 patients?? No personalized care!! We were in need of a desperate change and a new solution. Shadow Mountain Memory Care was highly recommended. We chose SMMC after touring 5 other facilities that offered Memory Care services. The difference was night and day. My father was welcomed with open arms on day 1 and has received personalized care each and every day he has been there. The care providers are outstanding…they truly care about the patients they are servicing. Misty and her team are always pleasant to deal with and always willing to have conversations to improve care. We are so thankful that our Father is at SMMC. At SMMC he has peace, safety, security and socialization and is living his best life.
