Sheffield Bay

My Mother was a resident of Sheffield Bay from February 2024 until October 2024. While it's difficult to place a loved one in a Nursing facility, I want to thank the entire staff at Sheffiled Bay for their caring, compassion, and love. This is a wonderful facility operated by professionals at every level. God Bless everyone at Sheffield.

Excellent care for my mother. They were responsive to her needs and in and out of her room to make sure she was ok. Dori was a fantastic help. I highly recommend Sheffield.

Beautiful building, warm and inviting. Has a real at home feel for those who live there. Staff goes above and beyond for the residents, they are like a family. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for all inclusive care.

My mother lived at Sheffield for almost 6 years and her 6 children all agree that Sheffield rook very good care of her. During that time she moved to memory care for the kast 10 months of her life. Sheffield staff was attentive and sincere. If we ever had issues, the management listened to our suggestions as well as initiated changes rapidly. Qhen she entered hispice care, Sheffield staff stepped up even more. When Mom had troubles staff was creative in how they calmed her, they never sought medication as the answer but came up with ways to offset her moods, activities were always happening and quality was their motto. At no time, no matter how much extra care was required, Sheffield handled it and we did not ever pay more even if she needed hourly checks or more such as when she fell. They communicated with us regularly. During Covid they immediately set up video chats and later qhen allowed window visits. Sheffield is the gold standard for a reason.

My Mother has been a resident for almost 10 months. The staff is friendly and caring. There is plenty of organized activities and weekly entertainment that she really enjoys. It was a difficult decision to move her from her home, but Sheffield made it a much easier transition for all of us.
