Shenandoah Nursing Home

I want to write a great review for the staff at SNR. Gina was so gracious in helping my Mom get a bed there when I was pushed under a time restraint from UVA. Terri was great to work with. Brittanie arranged transport home. Thank you to these fine ladies. The PT and OT really did the best job they could to help Mom gain some mobility. They were such caring folks. The amazing thing to watch was how the CNAs and RN worked together. They all seemed to help each other. Tish, Kelly, Dana, Ariel were so good to Mom. Lisa and Carolyn were on top of their game. I can't thank these ladies enough and I'm sorry if I didn't mention everyone. These are just the ladies I interacted with the most. These ladies worked hard. When you walk in you do not smell what alot of facilities smell like. The cleaning staff does a great job with keeping every room and area clean. Highly recommend this place!!!

I have had several family members in this facility and have been very happy with the care, kindness and cleanliness and over all atmosphere! Would only recommend this place!!

My mother was at facility recently for 2 month stay due to a bad fall with injuries. She says her stay was wonderful. The place was clean the food was good and the staff took great care of me. The therapy department worked with me so gently at first and once I started to heal pushed me to try my hardest. I really wanted to go home and that's exactly what I got to do!

Shenandoah nursing home did an excellent job of taking care of my grandfather. He loved the staff and was so thankful they went out of their way to get him a comfortable chair. If he couldn’t be at home, that’s where he wanted to be. I would definitely recommend Shenandoah nursing home.

My wife was admitted to Shenandoah Nursing home for rehab. It's great, staff is friendly and caring. The admissions director couldn't have been more helpful and opened a room exactly when it was needed. Very thankful for Shenandoah Nursing home.
