Sherman Glen is a cozy and quaint assisted living residence, thoughtfully repurposed from its former life as a school and situated in a beautiful country setting. My mother-in-law spent the last four months of her life as part of the Sherman Glen family, where she received excellent care, and enjoyed the comforts of a lovely room and home-cooked meals prepared and served by caring staff. Residents and guests regularly gather for fellowship in the large dining/entertainment area, with picture windows grand enough to view the always-present outdoor wildlife “residents” - deer, turkeys, and more. Serenity, peace, security - what better gifts to offer a loved one? Do check it out!

I’ve visited this facility several times and each time, I have witnessed the wonderful care the residents receive from the resident care aides and Administrator. The home is well kept, clean, and very spacious. The outdoor setting is beautiful and gives the residents the opportunity to spend time in nature in the many outdoor seating areas.

This facility is a beautiful place and is located in a beautiful area with a lot of wildlife. Great loving staff that treat your loved one like family. This facility was sold in 2021. We have followed all covid restrictions that were in place at the time. We are very proud of our facilities and staff.

My mother stayed at Sherman Glen for two weeks respite care while my Dad travelled to visit family. I don't think you could find a nicer more pleasant facility. The care was excellent. Mom felt she was on vacation. The food was delicious, there were fun outings, beautiful clean surroundings. One thing that was extra special was the welcome extended to myself and family to join Mom at meals and just to hangout and visit. Mom visibly improved in the two short weeks she stayed. I think it was the improved diet, fresh air and activities. Just a really nice place.
