Sherwood Assisted Living

For the most part, we are pleased with the services my father receives. My main concern is that when a person arrives, an explanation of services is given and signed by the resident. Changes to the agreement are made in order to keep costs down. Cleaning and laundry were twice per week and have been reduced to once per week. Difficult to accept along with rent increases.

My mother has been at Sherwood for over a year now - and a review is long overdue. She originally went to stay for respite care while I had surgery. 2 weeks into her stay, she asked if she could stay for good! She loves being there. She loves the staff; loves “being her own woman” ; loves all the activities; and, enjoys the food. She is always treated with respect and affection. If there is ever an issue, it is addressed and taken care of immediately. She is treated like family - not just a client. I couldn’t be more happy with Sherwood Assisted Living!

My mom is always well cared for. Staff is very friendly, helpful and supportive. My mom is always clean and tidy. She feels valued. She loves the staff and the staff loves her. Meals are plentiful and delicious. Me, as her daughter, I no longer worry that my mom has forgotten to take her medication or done double doses. I no longer worry if she forgot to eat. She participates in craft, exercise, and entertainment programs. I have peace of mind and so does my mom. Sherry at Reception Desk is so helpful.
