SHERWOOD LODGE ASSISTED LIVING

I am so grateful for Sherwood Lodge and the love and care they provided my dad. The facilities are warm and cozy and the people are kind and attentive. The have many activities throughout the days to build community.

my mom has been there over a year now and it has been wonderful. Kim, the previous manager was 2nd to none, she is and was the best. There is a new manager now, Michelle?... she wont speak to anyone and wont look at you in the eye.. and from all accounts, is kind of mean to the residents. But over all, its been a good experience for my mother

My mother has lived here for over a year currently, and we have been very satisfied with the caregiving staff, the property manager and her apartment. In the few issues that have arisen, the property manager Kim, has done a very good job of addressing and resolving those quickly

My mom has a lovely apartment, says the food is delicious and is happier than I’ve seen her in quite awhile. The public areas are beautifully decorated and the activities seem like a lot of fun. Most importantly the staff especially the director Heather is personally involved in each residents care and is able to let me know when my mom seems down or is not socializing. I am so great full to have found a place where I know my mom is comfortable safe and cared for.

Sherwood Lodge has been my mother's home for almost 8 years since it first opened up. She considers it her home and has made many friends over the years. She has a nice apartment with a bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. She has her own laundry machines in her apartment which is really handy. The staff is really caring and willing to help when help is needed. If a problem arises, the facility director is willing to listen to your concerns and help solve the problem to the best of her ability. Food service is very good, I know, I have eaten the food. Nice portions and a good salad bar with fresh fixings. Residents have the opportunity to go shopping once a week to different stores in the area. They also have different outings they can sign up to go enjoy. During the day there are different activities to do. There is bingo, crafts, movies in their beautiful theater,along with Wii bowling, cards and other activities for residents to enjoy. Area ministers come and have services in the lovely chapel along with Bible studies. Sherwood Lodge also has musical groups come in and entertain. My mom takes advantage of all that is offered and is very happy. It is reassuring to know that she is somewhere she loves and is receiving excellent care. I highly recommend this facility if you are looking for a home for your loved one!
