There's no night staff and it's bull sheet. They kept giving me the wrong meds on top of that.... Got hospitalized 4 times in one month because of that!

Shiloh Place is NOT a traditional assisted living home.While this place looks great on the outside and online, don't be tricked, the inside is a different story. This place is basically a low rent group home/boarding house for adults with varying levels of developmental disability. There is extremely low staffing and supervision. Good luck finding someone to help you if you fall or need help. Residents are forced to rely on each other. Extremely chaotic environment. Staff are unhappy seeming and often disrespectful and impatient with residents. Residents bicker and fight a lot and seem anxious, depressed, and bored. The common areas smell strongly of urine. Reoccurring issues with bed bugs. Resident rooms are dark and cluttered, with tripping hazards, and smell like urine. More than a few residents need help with hygiene and are not getting it, so they go around with greasy hair, and food stains on clothes. Meals are not planned or healthy. Food is low quality, high-sodium, sugary junk. A typical meal is chili dogs and potato chips served on a paper plate. Residents frequently wander on foot to local fast food restaurants or convenience store to get meals. It is really hard to get a hold of staff or owner on the phone. Nobody answers the phone or greets visitors. No locks on any doors. No security. Anyone could walk in off the street and roam through the entire building without encountering a staff member. Most residents get shuttled over to the "day center" during the day to learn about Jesus and make crafts. If you have family or friend who lives here, you need to check in on them regularly and make sure they are safe and that their needs are being met. Otherwise, avoid, avoid, avoid this place.

The place was filthy. 5 lightbulbs out in bathroom. Nobody gives resident a tour or explains anything. Smells like urine. Nobody returns phone calls. No doorknob or lock, no window screens. Not everyone pays same! Disorganized. Would not recommend.
