SILVER OAKS COUNTRY ESTATES I

All the staff are so caring and helpful and kind to everyone. There are 3 homes on a cul de sac so it feels like home to the residences. Being owned by a Doctor is a true benefit as there are quick to see any medical issues that need attention. Both the head caretaker and the doctor respond to questions or concerns with a text which makes it so easy for the family. And the head caretaker Sara is a true gem sending us photos and videos all the time. We are so grateful our mom is at a place of comfort for her and for all our family

My mom lived at Silver Oaks for the last 5 years. She received excellent care and loving kindness at Silver Oaks from both the original owner Lorena Eckert, and Dr. Showah and his wife Wendy . I have been to multiple nursing homes, assisted living facilities and board care homes and Silver Oaks was best choice for my mom. It reminds me of the Golden Girl TV show with 6 ladies in a house with care takers there to help them when they need it. My mom had dementia so she was not able to participate in the many activities offered but I enjoyed seeing the other residents enjoy yoga, crafts, or singing. When I need care I hope I can find a place live Silver Oaks for myself. The staff was amazing and they truly cared about the residents and their families.

I have lived next door to Silver Oak Country Estates for 8 years now and am very impressed with the care givers and how well they take care of the residents. Lorena and her staff have created an environment that feels like a home and not a facility. Whenever I visit and talk to the families they always comment on how they feel so blessed and safe to have their loved one there. I would highly recommend Silver Oak to my friends and family that were searching for an assisted living home.

My wife's mother lived a Silver Oak Country Estates for about 4 years and passed away in early 2015. She had excellent care at Silver Oak from Lorena Eckert and her staff around the clock. Lorena also assisted when Mom went into the hospital. She was there with her until we could arrive. Thank you so much to Lorena and Silver Oak.

I was so fortunate to have Silver Oak Country Estates, Lorena Eckert and her staff on our side in a very difficult time. I was nervous about moving my mother to an assisted living facility. As her dementia progressed it became very clear that she needed more professional support than we could provide--for her own good-- but how could we be sure anyone else would care enough to give her the comfort she deserved? I have no words to express how grateful I am to Lorena and her entire staff for making my mom as comfortable as she could be in her last years. Over time I saw the quality of care they provide residents, at all hours of the day and night, the incredible organization Lorena has created and how profoundly caring, well-trained and attentive each member of her staff was. A very comfortable, well-laid-out facility, the meals, activities, help with basic needs, quality human interaction, there was nothing more I could have hoped for for my mom. I'll always be deeply grateful to be able to say that.
