SILVERADO ROLLING HILLS

Silverado Memory Care in Rolling Hills has been great. This is the third facility I have moved my dad to in the last two years. I truly appreciate the caregivers and staff there. The training they have in dementia/Alzheimers is key to a good understanding of the behaviors people experience with the disease. This understanding is core to providing good care. It has made a big difference for my dad. The staff is able to adapt to his needs and preferences. At Silverado I feel he is in the best place he can be.

When I think of Laurie Glover, I think of Silverado Rolling Hills Memory Care Community. Silverado is truly dedicated to enriching the lives of those living with Alzheimer’s and dementia, and it shows in everything they do. Having Laurie and the Silverado community as a trusted resource for the families I work with has been such a gift. They provide compassionate support through respite care and memory care assisted living, helping families navigate what can otherwise feel like an overwhelming journey. Laurie is deeply involved in the community and genuinely passionate about spreading awareness of Silverado, ensuring families never feel alone when caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s or dementia. Every time I visit, I’m greeted by an incredible staff and a warm, welcoming sense of “home.” I highly recommend Silverado to anyone with friends, family members, or neighbors facing memory care challenges. When I think of memory care, I think of Silverado.

Our girl scout troop loves coming here to visit with the residents. Jason, the director of resident engagement, sets us up with fun activities to do with the residents, and the girls enjoying singing songs and reading books with the community. The girls also gave glowing reviews of the food - they have an amazing onsite chef! So although I can't speak to what it's like to have a loved one live there, I do know that they put in an effort to make sure the residents enjoy their time there.

My step-mother was diagnosed with severe dementia 4-1/2 years ago and was placed in an elder care facility where we watched her condition worsen as the months went by. They were keeping her alive, but she was not receiving any treatment for her dementia. We felt that there had to be a better place for her where she would be treated as an individual and encouraged to live her life as normally as possible in a community environment. After shopping around for some time, we decided to move her to the newly opened Silverado Rolling Hills Memory Care facility. Now, after more than 3 years, I can say that it was a great move for her. She is active, she is engaged, she is respected by the staff, she smiles and even has her cat living in her room with her! I most sincerely recommend The Silverado as a great place for my loved one and quite possibly for yours.

I wanted to give a shout out to Oliver and his culinary team for organizing and creating beautiful and delicious luncheon for my mom and her friends in a private room at Silverado Rolling Hills. He has done this a few times and it is always a hit. Thank you, Oliver and team.
