SILVERADO SENIOR LIVING - CALABASAS

The staff at Silverado in Calabasas is amazing. They are kind, thoughtful, and very accommodating. The hallways and dining areas are always clean and there is an aura of happiness throughout the community there. I would recommend any family seeking a place for their parents to definitely consider Silverado.

I have had the opportunity to work with Silverado Calabasas Memory Care Community, and I have been consistently impressed with the level of care and thoughtfulness in their environment. One of the things that really stands out is the beautiful, secure outdoor grounds. The walking paths are wonderful for residents who enjoy being outside and are especially beneficial for those who tend to wander. Having safe spaces where residents can walk, move freely, and enjoy fresh air makes a meaningful difference in quality of life. The team is compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly understands the unique needs of individuals living with memory loss. Families can feel confident knowing their loved ones are in a community that prioritizes dignity, engagement, and safety. Silverado Calabasas is a special place, and I always appreciate the care and dedication I see there.

We recently toured the facility and were truly taken aback by the wonderful amenities available to all residents, as well as the secure and supportive environment they’ve created. From the moment we walked through the doors, it was clear that their unique approach centers on treating each individual with dignity and respect. The warmth of the staff and the thoughtful attention to residents’ comfort and well-being make this community stand out in every way.

I recently attended a tour at this Silverado Calabasas location and I have to say how impressed I am with this location. The location itself lends a feel of tranquility as it sits right in the pocket of the hills of Calabasas, giving the aesthetic of living in a quiet country side away from the bustle of LA's chaotic lifestyle. The staff was very friendly and attentive to the questions I had (as I'm starting to have to think about memory care for my mother). I was also impressed with the meals provided which was very good from the taste sample provided to me. I was told that they just had major renovations done to the lobby, new carpet, couches, chairs, etc. Rooms were a nice size too. In all, my biggest take away was the location. Other senior facilities I've visited have either been in the madness of the city or way too far out for me to want to travel for potential visits for that quiet comfort feel. But this Calabasas location feels like it will give the best of both needs: a nice cozy country feel with a mountain backdrop while being just close enough from my urban lifestyle. I will seriously keep Silverado Calabasas in the running in my decisions.

Silverado has so many wonderful communities for a family trying to manage the care of their loved one with a neurodegenerative disease. Their programs are so beneficial and although the communities are incredibly secure, they provide so much freedom for their residents with plenty of open areas, both indoor and outdoor. This is perfect for those who may wander, allowing them to do so in a safe environment. I had the opportunity to meet with the leadership at Calabasas recently and it was a great experience. Their shared passion of providing the best care and most stimulating environment for their residents was apparent. Thank you so much for taking the time to meet with me as it was time very well spent.
