SILVERADO SENIOR LIVING- NEWPORT MESA

Silverado has been such a great experience. We started at an assisted living facility for my father and going from that to Silverado which is specifically geared towards Alzheimer’s has been such a blessing. Silverado has not only met but exceeded every expectation in regards to their care for my father. They are so attentive and keep me updated on any changes and updates. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who has loved ones diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and/or dementia.

I moved my mother (who has dementia) to Silverado in Costa Mesa a couple weeks ago from another facility. I wish I had done this move sooner (or from the beginning). Everyone at this place is so kind, compassionate, caring and supportive - not just to the residents, but also the families. My mother was unhappy & depressed at her last place. Here, at Silverado, she is thriving and I haven't seen her this happy in years! The activities are amazing and she enjoys them (not just reading them a child's book); they go out on weekly "field trips;" they take the dogs out of the community for walks in the neighborhood (yes, there is a resident pup as well as employees bring their beloved pups). Mom can go outside WHENEVER she wants without guidance or asking permission! My mother is literally thriving here. I was hesitant at first moving her to a new facility, but the staff walked me through the process and made me feel comfortable. Hassan is amazing and was very communicative with me from the beginning. He still is and communicates with me frequently (as does Alejandra & Heather). This place hosts weekly BBQs and invites the family to join (no additional charge). I honestly cannot believe I didn't know of this place sooner. I know mom is safe & my anxiety is almost completely gone with her so happy and living her best life here. I trust everyone at Silverado with every ounce in my body.

I am so impressed with the level of care here. The facility is always clean and welcoming, but it’s the staff that makes it special. They are highly trained in dementia care and handle difficult moments with incredible grace. They keep the residents engaged with meaningful activities and provide our family with regular, transparent updates. It feels like a true home

Silverado in Newport is an exceptional memory care facility. The staff is compassionate, attentive, and truly dedicated to the residents’ well-being and dignity. The facility is clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed for memory care. Communication with families is reassuring, and knowing our loved one is in such capable, caring hands gives us real peace of mind. I highly recommend Silverado to anyone seeking quality memory care.

The community here at Silverado Newport Mesa became a home for my mother. After trying to age in place for 4 years and then the sudden death of my step father - we needed a place for mom (with advancing Alzheimer’s) My search led me here. Silverado home is an open floor plan, with fountains, gazebo and gardens. You smell cookies baking. Light and airy decor with weekly fresh floral arrangements evokes a welcoming spirit. Inside, my mom is supervised with a 24 hour nursing staff that is kind, caring and professional. The caregivers assigned to my mom are angels, I cannot state just how lovely they are. In my experience, all the staff and especially the caregivers here are highly trained in dementia care. It takes a village to turn a dementia care facility into a home for residents to thrive in. I have so much gratitude to all caregivers, the culinary team, activities team, housekeeping, laundry, administrative, maintenance, everyone! My mom has been living here for just over a year now. While my mother is fighting this disease, she is surrounded by caring professionals here at Silverado Newport Mesa that treat her with respect, love and dignity. I couldn’t be happier with Silverado. When I visit my mother here, I am happy to just be a daughter again.
