Not as advertised: - 1 person staff at night, not two, who sleeps during their shift. They do not listen or respond to sound monitor. She was in a dead sleep everytime id arrive at night. I often had to knock for 3-5 minutes. - Owner very upset when I wouldnt sign "mediation clause" in contracts. She outright claimed I was too young to know what I'm doing, and threatened to kick my father as a result. - They do not offer rides to Dr. Appointments, although they advertise as doing so. - They do not accommodate required diets. Kidney failure or diabetic, everyone gets the same meal. - When discussing price with owner, I was asked multiple times, "do you have a lot of money" (exact wording). -Its obvious what this business is about. I feel sorry for local residents who have limited options.

Well run hospice

Had to pay $5k for a week as they won't pro rate. Food sucks, owner is all about money and nasty. They do not take you to appointments. Place sucks.

Stay away from this place!! Our issues started a few months after we brought mom to this facility. The owner demanded a $2,000 increase in our monthly rate with no justification, she gave us 72 hours to pay the fee or leave!! There was no change in the level of care provided (mom was admitted at the highest care level offered) and we had a contract in place!! Being a small town with limited options we paid the increase. We had to deal with several issues while mom was there, employees that were caught stealing and were fired only to be hired back later. Another employee was caught drunk on the job and neglected to give the patients their medications! The owner Liza is not a nice person, very argumentative and can become extremely rude and nasty. The straw that broke the camels back and the reason for this review is the phone call we received the day before our mothers burial. We went to clear out moms room (we got a call from Liza letting us know she already had the room booked and we needed to pick up her belongings ASAP even though we paid for the entire month) and we noticed that a hand made quilt was no longer in the room. We asked about the quilt with the staff and was advised they would look for it and get back to us. Fast forward to the day before the burial, Liza calls and begins to argue with us stating that we never brought over the quilt and quickly became her usual nasty self talking over us and calling us liars. The facility is continuosly under staffed, the staff they do have are not qualified, one of the employees currently on staff is eighty (80) years old!!! If you have other options take your loved ones elsewhere!
