SJ Flower House

Would like to share about one of the owners of the SJ Flowerhouse. The first time I met Sydney and she spoke about her then job caring for seniors, you could see that she truly was passionate about every senior patient, learning everything she could about them to help make each day a 5 star day. Each one had a different story and Sydney knew them all. Sydney truly pours her heart and soul into their care. Thanks for taking such good care of our loved ones.

When I would visit my hospice patients at The Flower House I thoroughly enjoyed going there because it has such a warm welcome and home feel. Never did I feel like I was visiting an institution! They provide safe and quality care for their residents and make anybody feel like family that walks through the door! I would place any of my patients or family members there for assistance and safe supervision!

The staff here is amazing! They personally care about the people they care for. The environment is homely and very clean. Highly recommend.

I give this place 10 stars!!! Not only do we love the staff, but our father sings their praises daily. He is treated so well with staff showing him respect, kindness, dignity, love, and general appreciation. They treat him and other residents like humans, like family. They even treat us like family! Besides staff care, the facility itself is worth mentioning. It has a home feel with the decor, layout, furniture, and other amenities. This was a big plus when touring originally as we want our father to feel at home. His mental and emotional state has greatly improved just due to the warmness of the facility (and of course, staff). It's not cold and loud like medical facilities. One of the first things he mentioned was "people aren't yelling at each other here, it's quiet, I can sleep". The facility is surrounded by flowers and farm land. This is a plus for a nice quiet, serene atmosphere. I feel it promotes healing and calmness for those needing it most. He has a window where he can watch the cows, which he loves to do. Another window has a cherry blossom right outside. The owners are amazing and always friendly and smiling. I'm not going to call them out by name because I want to call EVERYONE out and sing their praises, but I don't want to miss anybody!!! This is definitely a place I'd highly recommend for nursing and hospice care. Even the residents watch out for one another, like family ❤️

I would recommend the Flower House to anyone that have an elderly family member in need of assistance and/or care. They took such great care of my grandma, very compassionate and professional. If you want the home away from home for your loved one then this is the place!
