This is a junk nursing home. My grandma was sent there without any wounds, but she developed a large wound on her back while under their care. She passed away within a month.

The nurses, aides, and support team consistently go above and beyond to ensure that residents are comfortable, respected, and truly cared for. Communication has been outstanding — the staff keeps families updated, listens attentively to concerns, and treats loved ones like members of their own family. The facility is clean, organized, and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels warm rather than clinical. Activities, meals, and daily routines are thoughtfully planned to keep residents engaged and happy. What truly stands out is the kindness. Every interaction feels heartfelt, and it’s clear that the team at Avalon takes real pride in their work. Knowing that our loved one is in such capable, loving hands brings us so much peace and gratitude. Thank you, Avalon, for creating a safe, supportive, and caring home for the people we love. My mother was at this center, and I want to thank all the staff for their amazing care. They treated her with patience, kindness, and so much respect. After my uncle was discharged from Pali Momi, finding a rehabilitation center that truly prioritizes the health and well-being of their patients was one less thing to worry about, thanks to Avalon. Their knowledgeable nurses and nurse aides took great care of him, and especially the dietitian for providing the proper nutrition for my Uncle. The list of things to thank them of can go on and on, but let me end it by expressing gratitude towards the admission office for making the whole experience a walk in the park. Overall, I would highly recommend Avalon for anyone who is seeking the need of a skilled nursing facility.

Friendly staff from social services to nursing. All of them were very helpful. Facility itself was clean and cozy. Only complaint would be visitor parking. It was limited and had to double park. Other than that it was great stay for my mom who needed therapy after her fall.
